"The Steep Approach To Garbadale", its okay but I prefer Iain Banks Sci-Fi stuff. Which reminds me, why am I posting on here when I could be reading some more of the book?!!

Time to resurrect this thread IMHO. So what book(s) are you reading?

I'm currently reading "Northern Sky" by Mark Radcliffe (yes the DJ one) which tells the (fictional) story of a group of folk music loving friends and the "Northern Sky" folk club.

I'm currently reading the study texts for 3 accountancy exams. I really wish I could say that they are so thrilling that I just can't put them down but that would be a lie.

Imperium by Robert Harris. Hard going with all the Roman names, but an excellent story by a favourite author of mine

Along the same lines, I've just finished "Giant Steps" by Karl Bushby - the guy is WALKING around the world. This is the first part, all the way up the Americas. A real page-turner.

Entombed....L.Farstein.It is not very good, but I've got so far that I might as well finish it.

I quite like the Alphabet series by Grafton.Dead easy reading(can I say dead about murder stories?).

When's that Brighton blokes next murder mystery due?
