It promises to be the most boring bank holiday ever, as nothing is open. So yes, I'll probably watch an hour of the funeral. Sigh.

Apart from that, my wife has made a list of DIY jobs for me to do. Fair play, given the dearth of alternatives (with the obvious exception of Netflix) I think I'm quite happy to get it done.

Guessing I will be masturbating and smoking cigarettes. Few cups of coffee, probably something to eat. Other than that nothing planned, but it is subject to change.

How soon is now?
Going for a long walk, perhaps I should borrow a dog....
Some of my household want to watch the funeral, but it doesn't interest me. I'm by no means anti-royal, I just don't want to watch a funeral on the telly.
I reckon I can make it up to the Dyke in about an hour, so that'll be me

Probably working and take the BH in lieu later in the week.

Pointless having a BH when just about everything is shut down (except the supermarket express stores and similar around the route of the funeral apparently)

The missus is working until 2pm, so I will be heading out on the bike in the morning before she gets home, if the weather is OK. Then we'll be doing a few chores around the place in the afternoon, or visiting my parents.

The TV will NOT be going on at all.

I can take no more and am completely’ Queened up.’
I shall go for my early morning dip in the sea, have some breakfast and then probably sit on my arse in my favourite chair and do the crossword.

Yep, similar to Mellotron we shall be joining a few other local families and dragging the kids on a schlep somewhere on the downs before hastening back to one of our gaffs for drinks, food and general merriment.
