[Albion] What are the chances Potter is the first Prem manager sacked?

I don’t understand the blind support for a manager who frankly is not a winner. Given what he is paid he needs to earn his crust. A bottom six side for our 4th consecutive season on the trot is not something to be proud about is it? Or is it just about staying up until we are relegated?

As Sky have said - we haven’t won a match in 2020 at home in the league!

How many other Premier teams would put up with such a record?

I don’t recall their keeper having to make a save tonight.

We couldn’t beat WBA or Burnley so where is that win coming from?

Makes you wonder if we will win a home game this season

To be fair, there is nothing incorrect in what you say. Personally I'm getting to the stage where I want Potter to sort out the glaring problems and fast. I'm not interested in pundits flattering our style of play because if we go down, they will quickly forget all about BHA

We cannot defend a set piece, and we are toothless up front. I'm not sure the second problem is his fault, but the set piece woes clearly are.

I don’t want him sacked but it is a results business. We are woeful at home, week in week out. Didn’t test Saints keeper all match.

Playing White out of position. Keeping dour March in the side. Connolly is not a Prem player. Can’t defend at set pieces. Give away pens.

Soooo frustrating

And some think he is our best Manager of all time.

Doesn’t make my Top 5 & I go back 30 years. Given his budget on a like for like basis not even in my top 10

You don't want him sacked? You don't cover your tracks well do you? You know we can read your posts don't you? Your two recent posts on 6 November.

Should never have given him a 5 year contract.

The guy is not a winner - what has he won?

No decent forwards - we were always going to struggle

The guy has no passion

He’ll take us down this season

Nothing is going to change - the club don’t deserve to be in the Premier without investing in attacking players.

and

Huffed & puffed tonight but we were not unlucky. Pope didn’t have to make a proper save. 4 wins in 25 is PATHETIC

Short of losing next 6 or so games badly and ‘losing’ the dressing room, Bloom will not sack Potter. He gave Hyppia longer than he should have and we all no Chris should have gone after 5-0 defeat to Bmuff.

Last 3 games.

Won at Villa. Drew with Liverpool Lost to Southampton.

Perspective never comes into play just after a defeat.

I wouldn't aim too much criticism Potter's way. Just stop letting Ashworth have so much input and I think results would improve. There is too much pressure on him to play open attacking football that perhaps leaves less time on the training ground to work on some of the basic defending play.

I think he should be sacked. I couldn't give a flying **** what sort of football we play, i can't deal with defeat after defeat at home.

Alzate not getting a game.
Butter fingers Ryan.
Short corners.
Can't defend set pieces.
Can't motivate team at half time.
Centre backs in Midfield.
March who is worst player on pitch week after week but undroppable.

I'm sorry but I've had it with Potter and want him out.

watch 90 mins you c#nt, then you'll know, you c@nt

Let’s see shall we after the Sheffield and Fulham games , we were shite against West Brom and Burnley if it’s more of the same then I think Potter should take up quidditch instead

Massive games, but whatever happens we won't go down and Potter won't be sacked.

Unfortunately most of the points you have
highlighted from the OP do have some truth about them
True we play some attractive passing football but without
ever really troubling the opposition, the last time we did was at Newcastle
Alzate that day was really good but seems to be out of favour
I think he might bring something to the way we operate
Webster is a bit lucky to be playing week in week out he often give possession away
and look shaky defensively
Veltman,Dunk White would be my trio
Alzate back in midfield
Just my opinion based on what I’ve seen over the past 11 games
We are a bit to slow and at the moment don’t seem to be showing
the type of quality that’s needed.I know it’s there because briefly we have
Just need to try to show it consistently
Couple of wins before Christmas and it looks completely different
I’m pretty hopeful we can get them but if it carries on how it is it
it probably won’t
I would love it if the players had a bit more belief in their abilities because
there is some real talent among them
Just my opinion I’m no expert

The rest of the December games are looking winnable but it's been a strange season so far and all teams can occasionally put on a show. Even Sheffield United looked ok in a few of their games.
