Last Sunday, August 1st up here it was apparently:
Yorkshire Day (minor celebrations all over Yorkshire (whippet stroking, flat cap brushing etc)
Leeds Pride (centre of Leeds)
The Asian Festival (Roundhay Park in Leeds).
I guess for a gay, Asian Yorkshireman/woman, life don't get much better than that day?

Gutted i can't make Swindon game (financial reasons) to get away from this poof love in! meant to be working till 12 on Sat aswell but im leaving at 10.30 am to avoid the benders parade!

No, it wouldn't be Tim as he is a little frightened by the whole idea of Pride (can't imagine why ?)
I have been a few times with my wife and kids and we have always had a great time, although we do tend to leave by early evening when i would expect things to 'liven up'.
We have never seen any kind of sexual performance at Pride beyond kissing, although we have inadvertantly witnessed a bout of 'dogging' by 2 heterosexual couples on a beach in the med - but before Tim points it out, they were probably foreigners, so don't count.
I have never met anyone who has gone and not enjoyed themselves
