There is a parade, then everyone goes to Preston Park, the phone lines go down from everyone trying to use them to meet up with mates, so they just chat to randoms and do drugs, get drunk and dance in the tents. There's also fairground rides, and a massive queue for the bogs.

I've only been twice in the 6 years I've been living here, it's expensive to drink and I don't do drugs and too crowded for me, so although it is fun if you like to party, not my cup of tea.

This year, I am away, and it's not a coincidence.

that's not the drug of choice amoungst the party people HB&B so no fear of that. You would be likely to get a sweaty hug from a half naked person with massive pupils and a smile on their face however.

Well, the Tory council are well versed in burning cash. Half a million pay-off to the perfectly able Alan McCarthy, and not only are they about to spunk 4 x 125,000 a year employing 'super-leaders' they wasted a load of tax-payers money on that bizarre and amateur 'Status-Quo' ad and website.

There isn't really anything special, theres some sort of barn dance tent, a couple of sex toy shops and gay clothes shops, a couple of tents for people to donate to charities, a few party tents and thats about it. Its basically just a summer fete that is formed by the LGBT community.

What people DO there is the thing though.
