This was a great shame especially if Mansfield draw a top team next round - huge revenue opportunity blown by a clueless set of players.

Mansfield did play well though.

I'm not sure that giving El-Abd stick is right. He was one of the better players yesterday. Thought FDM had an OK game. Revell did alright - certainly contributed more that Bas did in most games.

Lynch was at fault for both goals and was shocking.

And all the debate about Hammond is now laid to rest - we missed him badly yesterday. Reid is a good player, but he needs an enforced.

i booed, because it was total utter rubbish. but lets not get carried away, wilkins has a very difficult job who are we gonna get in to do a better job. who could we afford? give him till the end of the season at least as im sure we can pick up enough results to stay up.

Didnt realise that. Sorry.

Should be out for 6 weeks I suspect so these 5 new players need to arrive very quickly

Just wonder if all the negative stuff of the past two weeks has had its affect on the team. They seemed lacking in energy, spirit and self belief yesterday.
A good example was the incident when Lynch was down in the south west corner surrounded by Mansfield players whilst our players just stood in the penalty area watching. No one seemed to be prepared to help and start a new attack. Rabbits trapped in headlights sprang to mind.

Whatever that was our worst display of the season.

Totally inept.

Kuipers doesn't seem to inspire any confidence and his distribution was truely woeful.

The back four were simply outplayed, too one dimensional - and the way that Lynch (although he was to blame for both goals) was just left to wallow in his own self blame was a disgrace, where is the captain geeing him up?

Midfield - truely terrible, let's hope we don't f*** up with Hammond - on this performance all 4 midfielders don't look fit to wear the shirt.

Attack - Forster looks a class player in a crap team, Revell - did he win anything in the air?

All in all, a total shambles yesterday and with some floating fans attending due to the cheap tickets and massive own goal in terms of getting the fans back on a regular basis.

I think it would be unfair to criticise individual players as the team collectively had an absolute shocker yesterday. All that was required was a professional performance, and we didn't get anything close to that. I'm sure that the players are thoroughly embarrassed by it, because I know I am - and I just hope that it doesn't put off my little sister from coming to a game again, because the team is perfectly capable of a far higher standard than what was on display yesterday.

By the way, she thinks that Robinson needs a hair cut.

DK said he was in negociation with 5 players - not that 5 players would be signing.
I think we should realistically expect maybe 2 of the 5 to arrive.

That is a real low-point. We have been totally outplayed by a team that has won NO away games, and scored just five goals. Absolutely f***ing SHAMBOLIC.

I take it the Albion are back to they're worst again then! I'm rather glad I opted to go to another game yesterday.

On behalf of the realists round here, you're forgiven.
But if you think Sudbury '97 was bad, you must have missed Leatherhead and Walton & Hersham.
Never a dull moment - but just think: you could be a Chelsea fan waking up to an exhilerating 1-0 win over QPR...

Maybe just maybe the people that wanted Wilkins as manager will now realise what a shit decision it was to appoint him.

We are once again a laughing stock.

Well I hope your little sister keeps coming too. There isn't enough style-based criticism of players in the modern game. All too often I'm left incensed by the choice of knitwear and haircuts of modern so-called professionals. Come on lads, SORT IT OUT!

Deservedly booed off at the end and droans from all around.

Post your Wilkins Out and El-Abd is total shite comments here:

Are you kidding?

El-Abd was one of our better players yesterday, and anyone who would SERIOUSLY want wilkins out because of one game needs a reality check. We are 10th in the league, and if we win our game in hand we go 8th. I'm happy with that

If the team went into the game with the same arrogance as same showed on here C its not really much of a shock.

Mansfield would have seen this game as a great chance to get to the fourth road, and as we all know the gap between league 2 and league 1 isnt that great.
