I dont care what anyone says about the loss of Richards, O'C and Savage, we should have won that with our eyes closed.

Absolute travesty. Dont know whats happened to Lynch, sounds like he was to blame. NO creatvity, no chances. Total disaster

Or, maybe he put together a good team, that was challenging for promotion, until the tight arse chairman split the squad up.

The Mansfield fans want to get rid of their chairman, an apparent savious, who bought the club on the cheap, but has offered no investment since. yet we still laud Dick Knight as some sort of hero.

I am not seeing a difference between the two sets of circumstances.

You are spot on as i keep making that point:whisky:

What a dismal result and we only had one shot on target against probably the worst team in the football league and they had there best player out a striker:laugh:

Funds have been dire for decades, but many fans on here prefer us to be skint and non ambitious:yawn:

That is a real low-point. We have been totally outplayed by a team that has won NO away games, and scored just five goals. Absolutely f***ing SHAMBOLIC.

How many people turned out to witness this complete f*** up?

Hammond's 'non-existant contribution' wasn't missed then?

his hand was strengthened somewhat today, in terms of his contract negotiations. He may be local and a top bloke, but fraser is not good enough. Lynch was woeful today all game, and the decision to keep him on at half time was a very poor one.

It was down to the players, not Wilkins. Hardly any of them seemed up for it and didn't want it. Only Kuipers, the defence bar Lynch who had a shocker seemed to be trying along with Elder when he came on and at times Forster. Revell was awful, Robinson was anonymous, Cox was cack it was just an amazingly lackluster performance. We need to spend some money urgently and get some good key players in.

In EVERY single department we were second best. Their modest attack ran us ragged, our midfield, well.... what midfield? I'm absolutely in shock at how WOEFUL we were. I know people won't like this, but we're carrying a few players that just are not professional standard. So, throw in the fact that the players we have who are just about good enough don't seem to give a f***ing toss, and we were always on to a loser.

I am a fan of Wilkins, and I appreciate what he's trying to do, but he's got to hold his hands up and be absolutely 100% EMBARRASSED by his team and how they have played. The players and him have brought their trade into disrepute today, and heads should roll. Three new players are needed NOW, or we may as well just give up on this season.

Completely agree it was absolutley shocking.
We seemed to have one tactic which was to just hoof the ball up the pitch to the front two, it was clear this wasn't working after about 15 minutes.

Abort, retry, fail
I thought the only two to come out with any real credit were El-Abd and Elder.

Why should we turn up, if most of the team can't be bothered? :nono:

We need a left-back urgently, a central midfielder,a decent strike partner for Forster and they are off the top of my head.

PITIFUL!

Before we go round in circles for three pages, let me answer that in one sentence. Dean Hammond is a very good league one player currently not playing at his best. However, even in poor form, he's in a different class to Fraser (not good enough for league football) and Reid (on todays showing).

Thank goodness for that

An absolute DISCRACE!

Yesterday rivals sudbury 97 as the worst moment in my albion supporting life!

I think a lot of the blame has to lay with the manager. Why did he take Robinson for loft?!?!?!!!

I hate to say it, but realistically I cant see us getting anything from our next to games, Tuesday and Saturday. Are we gonna slide now? The same thing happenend last year at this time of the season. Worrying to say the least!

I made the point on here the other day that we would miss him in a game like this. And we did! Tommy Fraser had a shocker, he just looked like he couldn't be arsed, and Paul Reid is rusty and was really quiet all afternoon.

It was a shocking performance. Wilkins may think that criticism doesn't improve players. But the fans must have a voice, and I think we had every right to tell them what we thought yesterday afternoon.

We pay their wages ffs!

Robinson was absolute shite, no control, gave the ball away made 1 half decent cross all game, never tracked back and never marked the oposition winger leaving our full back back exoposed.

Only Lynch had a worse gane but at least he got involved.

Did we have a midfield, are our to wide men told to track back and defend?

'Cos Robinson has a suspected fractured metatarsal (official site).
