No fans social club/bar at falmer big oppo missed by the club
what else will be missing from the falmer project?

Going to leave a big empty space in the stadium. Unless the plans are being drawn up for a casino.

Of course there wil be one. Do you honestly think they would miss the opportunity? Jesus, why dont you just cool your boots and wait for the chuffing thing to be built. My GOD man! Go outside and do something rather than sitting at home sweating about the finer details of something that is at present a muddy hole just outside of Brighton.

Although to be fair, I've just had a look through the plans and there is no mention of such a thing. Unless they use the space marked energy store or the city college bit it all looks pretty full up.

Crap Town
There will be one , additionally there will also be concession bars in the stadium dispensing crap beers and lagers to wash down the pies , hot dogs and burgers.

Wasn't it part of the planning condition that no Alcohol would be sold at the stadium to the general public, But it would be avalible for corperate hospitaility as it would not actaully be sold to them. still no reason not to have a social club though.

No. That's not a planning matter.

It's a licensing matter for the City Council to deal with when the Club choose to put in an application. And I doubt if they'll do that until the premises are ready.

So is this a new concept of building a stadium with no facilities for fans? Of course there will be these facilities, not only are they essential in any development but they also provide valuable income.

I've not studied the plans but, as you have, can you tell us how many toilets there will be, how many cubicals and urinals? You should know because this whole thread seems a pisstake.

In the west stand on the ground floor there are 3 female toilets each with 15 cubicles and 8 washing basins in. There are 3 male toilets. Two of them contain two large urinals, two cubicles and two washing basins. One of them has two small urinals, one cubicle and two washing basins.

I could go on, the plans are that detailed.

I'm not sure why RotR is getting so much stick here, surely it's a valid point. If the answer is that they haven't decided where it will go but will definitely decide at a later date then fair enough.

Are we a social club?

the development is not huge, corporate needs have been catered for,the scalding pie and knat pee brigade can stand up and eat outside the toilets, but i assure you if you want to sit down with the kids for a no frill scram and watch tv soccer before or after the game it aint gonna happen! The uni has a claim to some of the enternal room at the stadium. Apart from paying £100 for the corporate gig it aint gonna happen!

Unless you start moaning now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
