All I'm concentrating on today are the three FACTS.

Forest lose - we're in
Forest draw - we're in
We win - we're in

FACTS are (barring ridiculous scorelines):

We are in the play-offs UNLESS: We lose AND Forest win AND Bolton draw or win.

Any other combination and we're there.

That's all you need to know.

Most of the spelling / grammar correction are piss taking for the hell of it, and meant in good humour. It's become a long running joke because it's silly and petty. Don't take it seriously.

How do you get those figures?

Vegas Seagull is correct (with a user name like that he should be able to work out the odds)

Three possible outcomes for the two Brighton games = 6
Ditto for Bolton = 6
Ditto for Forest = 6
Three poss outcomes for three Palace games = 9

So number of possible combinations 6x6x6x9 = 1944

So how many of the 1944 combinations result in us missing out?
