"We've got loadsa Money" (all waving tenners). Remember that going down well at away days in the late '80s (albeit with £1 or £5 notes in those days - that's inflation for you!)

Can I just interject here that my loathing of Pompey is nothing to do with their (shameful, cheating) financial problems, although that has lowered them further in my estimation. I've always disliked them, for their horrible ground, delusions of grandeur, and the team of filthy thugs that they used to field in the late 1980s/early 1990s under Alan Ball.
Absolutely this. I come across Pompey fans all the time through work and EVEN now they still give it large that they are the south coasts finest.
When they were in the cup final they were unbearable, how great they were and how they were going to bigger and better things. Deluded the lot of 'em.

Terry Connor, Mark Chamberlain and Warren Aspinall excepted!

Piss-taking's all part of the game, but i remember Pompey fans at Fans United at the Goldstone.
To stereotype them all as gloating billy big bollocks is as daft as the myth about how we all rallied round to oppose Archer and co, when the truth is most of the 20,000 who'll be at the Amex tomorrow did sweet F A.

Terry Connor, Mark Chamberlain and Warren Aspinall excepted!

In all honesty, Connor's best days were before my time, and the other two are hardly Albion legends.

Saddens me to think that after all we've been some fans would even think of doing some of the things suggested.

I Don't get this thread.

I will be embarrassed to hear any of these chants tomorrow.

Why do the Portsmouth fans deserve this?

Think how pissed off we would be if we were in their situation and we were being taunted?

We didn't buy an FA cup, a few years in the Prem, and European football with money we didn't have.

Correct. And that is exactly why we should do it.
Look how much better the atmosphere was after the "banner".
I think a simple "pay up Pompey, Pompey pay up" will do for me.

Yep yep yep.

All in west lower south end get up and sing loud

Looking forward to a proper football banter against an away crowd, you can't beat it.
