Oh that’s exactly who I meant, there are packs of them roaming wild on the Brexit thread, hysterical fannys talking out of their bum holes and SHOUTING at anyone who doesn’t fall into line with their echo chamber.
Shills and shysters trying to belittle. **** em...

The problem was he wasn’t quick enough closing things down in the first place. In that particular respect, far from being a dictator, he was too libertarian.

Come on now, be fair. How can he be expected to be making crucial decisions about closing things down, when he wasn't even present at 5 consecutive COBRA meetings ? I mean give the guy a break.

So much nastiness on this thread. Anyone would think being abusive makes your opinion the correct one.

I don't think being rude to Droopy or mr punch hard in the face is being abusive.

Almost everyone else is fine.

if you take a deep breath first, barren, you might be able to fit his bollox in as well

It was called a 'tuck' when I was younger. Quite a feat, to be fair :lolol:

Do you ever sometimes feel like punching baker lite hard in the face? ???

I'm not a violent person but Baker Lite goes out of his way to be a real obnoxious and ignorant **** who just likes to keep things stirring but can't actually be constructive in a discussion. Hilarious though when he spat his dummy out when Brexit was delayed and he crawled back under his rock for quite some time.

My comment refers to a thread he started with the very same words. A poor troubled soul who deserves a kicking whenever anyone can be bothered. Sorry, I meant pity. You may be astonished to know I have him on ignore. Yet his ungodly presence still stinks NSC out, as evidenced by other people's replies. ???

Max Hastings (most definitely not a leftie of any description) on Boris Johnson:

"There is room for debate about whether he is a scoundrel or mere rogue, but not much about his moral bankruptcy, rooted in a contempt for truth.

"A Johnson premiership will almost certainly reveal a contempt for rules, precedent, order and stability

"He would not recognise the truth, whether about his private or political life, if confronted by it in an identity parade.

"I have known Johnson since the 1980s, when I edited the Daily Telegraph and he was our flamboyant Brussels correspondent.

"I have argued for a decade that, while he is a brilliant entertainer who made a popular maitre d’ for London as its mayor, he is unfit for national office, because it seems he cares for no interest save his own fame and gratification. Tory MPs have launched this country upon an experiment in celebrity government, matching that taking place in Ukraine and the US, and it is unlikely to be derailed by the latest headlines.

"The Washington columnist George Will observes that Donald Trump does what his political base wants “by breaking all the china”. We can’t predict what a Johnson government will do, because its prospective leader has not got around to thinking about this. But his premiership will almost certainly reveal a contempt for rules, precedent, order and stability.

"A few admirers assert that, in office, Johnson will reveal an accession of wisdom and responsibility that have hitherto eluded him, not least as foreign secretary. This seems unlikely."

I have two theories:

a) It's a second account
b) It's a 12 year old's failed attempt at making a bot. Cos something real cant actually be that obnoxious and entirely devoid of any legitimate emotion, surely?

At the end of my tether
I would never be so naive as to wholeheartedly endorse a politician but ,frankly I am broadly behind our leader at this present time. There is nothing gained by ranting dissent or sniping when you are fighting a war ( which we are against this virus ) I do not think anyone else could have done better given the fact that this is uncharted territory for the whole world.
At least he knows how to communicate which is more than a lot of them can do effectively.

I can't detest these people, they are victims that have been persuaded to act against their own interests for a while now.

The human cost we are now seeing says it all. History will tell us the person that should have been at the table when this dreadful crisis started was absent and more concerned with trying to patch up his own dysfunctional personal life.

I read one quote that described him as loved by everyone who has never worked with him.

Private Eye on the resignation of Jo Johnson …… " Politician quits in order to spend less time with his Family "
