One doesn’t have to be a leftie to dislike and distrust Boris.

It's the footballisation of politics. If you don't support the same things I do then you're one of "them" and as such are my enemy. It's the same logic of why many hardcore Corbynites referred to those of us who voiced criticism of him as "Tories".
For someone detested by a fair few on here it seems ironic that he/the Tories walked the GE, the Peoples republic of Brighton and hove need to get out of their bubble and give their heads a wobble , up and at em Boris !

So much nastiness on this thread. Anyone would think being abusive makes your opinion the correct one.
Don't trust Boris as far as I can throw him and am utterly dismayed that I live in a country where so many people have decided that he's fit to lead us ...... however, at the moment, his successes are all of our successes so he has my support.
This is absolutely true. Equally true is that his failures are all of our failures, and some will pay for them with their lives. As such, whilst he has your support, he equally has the absolutely necessary scrutiny of others.
And what exactly has that achieved so far ?

Plenty.
In fact pretty much all the positive moves made, have been as a result of public or professional resistance to his half measures.
See school closures, pub closures, major sports, for examples.
