I'm getting there EDIT, not in demand enough to be headhunted but I'm getting there.

Of course you are. There are a lot of industries ridiculously short of minimum wage employees, but not quite that desperate yet. Give it time and stay positive :lolol:

I read your post which was all about Brexit .... I don't click on echo chamber tweets or watch dodgy videos on here, life's too short. In future, if you want to post an item about returning migrants perhaps post the relevant bit about returning migrants

It is a photo of the front page of a newspaper. You don’t need to click on a tweet or watch a video.
The relevant prose is under the photo and very relevant.

Perhaps you’re using Tapatalk which would account for a lot, but don’t lecture me on using the wrong thread when you don’t read the information.

Afghan girl footballers reach UK on Kim Kardashian West-funded flight

A group of Afghan girl footballers have flown into the UK, the culmination of an extraordinary rescue effort that began after the Taliban seized power.

The costly operation brought together an unlikely cast of characters, from Muslim sports-people to spies, philanthropists, and a Hasidic rabbi.

The girls - aged between 13 and 19 - arrived from Pakistan overnight.

Their flight was chartered by a Jewish aid organisation and was paid for by the US star, Kim Kardashian-West.

"It's Mission Accomplished," said Khalida Popal, former manager of Afghanistan's national women's team, who co-ordinated their rescue from Denmark. "I'm so happy and so proud of these girls. They were traumatised. They've been through so much and managed to stay strong. Now they can start a new life and breathe freedom."

An important read, I think.

“While Liverpool called for calm, Priti Patel exploited the terror incident for political gain”.

“Jumping to conclusions, the home secretary appeared to casually conflate asylum seekers with dangerous criminals“.

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2021/nov/18/priti-patel-liverpool-terror-incident

Quite remarkable that she tries to blame a bizarre range of people in an attempt to deflect from the fact it was a Tory government that should have removed him from the U.K. after his asylum appeal failed in 2017.

She blames previous governments and systems and even blames the church for not converting immigrants to Christianity . Quite bonkers. Quite worrying.

hopefully, rome is ablaze

Ah yes, the agreement that meant (since 2016) we have accepted many more refugees from other EU member states than we returned ... not being a member certainly works if you wanted to see a reduced number of refugees in the UK.

Brexit tourettes plus an edit .. not sure why you bothered changing the account Wz. :dunce:

The `get here however you can` apologists and sympathisers believe the Dublin transfer system was a success and are still moaning we dont have it to "reduce" immigration

The Dublin agreement gives the loony Brexiteers a real reminder of how they ****ed up. It’s why they jump on it so often. No, it didn’t get used often. Who’s fault is that? The EU gave us the tools to deal with the issue. If the Tory’s didn’t utilise it that’s down to them.
The point all the loons miss is the potential of the Dublin agreement. We had the power and we binned it. They just cannot seem to come to terms with that. I can see why, ****ing embarrassing for them.

Interesting how transfers to Europe crashed in 2016 and again in 2021 to 3 YTD...

No access to Schenhen databases and out of Europol too, such a mess

What about offshore processing ? First it was Ascension Island, now Albania (this is flatly denied by one of their ministers)

Maybe we need to move onto the letter B, BVI perhaps, get Geoffrey on the case

The only positive I can see for the shitshow Boris Johnson & The ******** have created is that they are so closely associated with this mess that when they go the EU will likely forgive us for his rudeness, incompetence, corruption and lies and give the next government a chance again. I really do think Jonnson’s government have set us on course to join the EU again within ten years.
I can see the EU calling an amnesty once these ********s leave and let us back in. Which is clearly what we need.
Or put it this way, I can see it as a possibility again, which two years ago I thought would be impossible. There is a glimmer for hope. Ironically shone by Johnson’s incompetence.

Well done for admitting (including the daft usual suspect thumbers) that you still believe taking back control of EU free movement regarding the free movement of EU citizens was about border control of non-EU illegal immigrants in France attempting to enter the country.

Your pointless figure is meaningless still in that context

Have some hats,
:dunce: :dunce: :dunce:

your daft little messaging club has run out …….again

Good riddance to free movement and the crappy dublin agreement

I feel like you've really convinced yourself of that idea and most of the other idealogues would also believe that, however, most of the country - sane, moderate, ordinary folk will feel this government are completely incompetent and lost control of immigration when one of the biggest reasons they were elected was the concerns over immigration.

Don't forget, also, Uncle Nige's "breaking point" poster below - The EU has failed us all - we must break free from the EU and take back control of our borders. Very clear and unambiguous to me

Why would most sane moderate people think we have lost control of immigration after we left the EU when EU immigration has reduced significantly (hundreds of thousands) and no one ever claimed illegal immigration would be reduced if we left the EU?

Shirley only a moron with a predeliction for teenage gymnasts/swimmers would think we had less control of immigration now?

I dont need to convince myself of the idea that the subject of taking back control of our borders during the EU referendum was clearly about taking back control of our borders with regard to EU free movement - about the free movement of EU citizens -and ending EU free movement.

Poll after poll after poll after poll .......and every sensible political commentator since have already acknowledged in great detail that the overwhelming reason this current government was elected was to push our withdrawal from the EU through parliament and put an end once and for all to those who were attempting to scupper it- the revokers and the 2nd referendumers - and somehow achieve the opposite of the referendum instruction to Leave and get us to remain instead.

Yet here you are still triggered by the immigration card, banging your head against a brick wall, and rewriting your own history because you still cant come to terms with the fact you lost

Of course its unambiguous to you- thats what you have been told to think on twitter and facebook
The EU were shocking during the first initial wave of the mass migration crisis, they could not gather any consensus. Countries panicked and did there own thing, borders and barbed wire went up internally in the schengen zone. Merkel threw the dublin agreement in the bin and then gave the people smugglers the green card to let a disaster turn into a catastrophe by saying get here how you can.
And idiots lapped it up whilst people drowned and smugglers got rich.
Yes the EU failed everyone..........typical demonstration of too many countries with their own national interests and how the daft idea of European political unity crumbles at serious hurdles

Have another hat

I'm getting rather tired of your insinuations now.

Ant that's not a threat before you claim it is.

I'm fed up of people being rude and unpleasant in a way that I don't think is befitting of a place that exists because of one significant thing that unites us all. It's got nothing to do with politics because, if it did, surely I'd be biased towards my own natural leanings, and your suggestion is I'm anything but.

It's about not being an arse, regardless of how you vote.
I haven't made any insinuations or claims about you. On the rare occasion you do venture on to political threads you normally get jumped on as a Tory apologist!

I fully support your drive to make NSC a nicer place but believe that can only truly happen if everyone is treated in a similar way which is down to the moderators... time will tell.

The [my] emboldened text is exactly the sort of stuff that Bozza was referring to in his sticky. A month off. Any repeat will result in a perma ban.

see alot of point scoring and re-running arguements about protocols that didnt help, no solutions though. this is a wider issue that is threatening instablity, even a pretext to conflct on the eastern borders, someone must have some sensible ideas?

Sorry, so Bozaa is or isn’t issuing perma bans for such behaviour? He made it pretty clear this stuff resulted in full bans. Off to a pretty fuzzy start.
And is that a ban on all four of his accounts?
But none of my business really.
