Yes, yes you did.

"If fools like PoTg and Pretty Dim Racist want foreigners to blame they could do a lot worse than long at the a Chinese and Russian billionaires buying up 60% of our housing stock."

"For clarification, are you saying that 60% of our houses in this country are owned by Chinese and Russian investors?"

The answer is still no.

It’s not illegal entry. The asylum seekers are doing nothing illegal. We have an open door policy for refugees. They are coming here with the full permission of your elected government.

No one has a open door policy for illegal entry into a country, where did you dream that one up from ? Where have the Government given them permission?
Regards

FACTS

B]What is an asylum seeker[/B]?
The definition of an asylum seeker is someone who has arrived in a country and asked for asylum. Until they receive a decision as to whether or not they are a refugee, they are known as an asylum seeker. In the UK, this means they do not have the same rights as a refugee or a British citizen would. For example, people seeking asylum aren’t allowed to work.
The right to seek asylum is a legal right we all share. It isn’t illegal to seek asylum, because seeking asylum is a legal process. It also isn’t illegal to be refused asylum – it just means you haven’t been able to meet the very strict criteria to prove your need for protection as a refugee.
Do people have to claim asylum in the first safe country they reach?
No. Neither the 1951 Refugee Convention, nor EU law requires a person to claim asylum in the first safe country they reach.

50%
Half of all people seeking asylum wait longer than six months for a decision
£5.66
Banned from working, vulnerable families struggle to survive on just £5.66 a day for years
33.3%
One in three people are granted refugee status on appeal

Are there many refugees and asylum seekers in the U.K.?

No. According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), by the end of 2018 there were 126,720 refugees, 45,244 pending asylum cases and 125 stateless persons in the UK.
That’s around one quarter of a percent (0.26%) of the UK’s total population.
Is the number of people seeking asylum in the UK increasing?
Asylum applications to the UK are relatively low – 35,566 in the year to December 2019. This is significantly lower than the peak of 84,000 applications back in 2002

Don't you just love people who are happy to display the courage of their convictions? :)

Quite. Lots of skirting and clumsy hinting but when asked outright they crumble. If there’s one thing worse than a xenophobe, it’s a cowardly xenophobe. It’s not a strong look.

What a daft thing to believe.
There is no open door policy for refugees. There is a managed policy for those with refugee status.
If there was an open door policy for refugees then every single person with refugee status in the world would be able to enter the UK with no regard for the numerical quotas of refugee settlement schemes and would be completely unhindered by immigration and border protocols.
A refugee in another country does not have automatic right to reside or automatic indefinite leave to remain in the UK.
