They can, nobody follows your links. How did your job app for the immigration centre go?
You'd like to think so, as for you how about giving us a figure you'd find acceptable making a illegal crossing of the English Channel ?
while there's a temporary halt in proceedings it's a ideal time to gather your thought's

As many as it takes to cover the staffing deficit left by Brexit. I'm guessing that runs into the hundreds of thousands? Plus all the refugees that require assistance, 86-90% of all those making the crossing are legitimate people in need or in fear of their lives so how many is that? You can do the maths.
The Brexit induced labour shortage adds up to around 700,000 individual vacancies across farming, transport & logistics, NHS and hospitality. So we could take that many as a sort of initial boost. Then in 2021 around 28,300 refugees made their way to the UK. If lets say, 85% of them are in genuine need, that's 24,055. So in the first year let's take 724, 055 and then scale down as we fill the vacant positions. Sound good?
You voted for it!
I' ve read it all now Brexit requires illegal entry into the UK and 86%-90% of these people are in fear of their lives
Could you explain why 46% of asylum claims were rejected last year

DF
46% were initially rejected. Why does that have a bearing on the estimated that are genuine?
Anyway, the figures hold true, I've posted sources on here before. If you didn't pay attention then, more fool you.
You've got your figures. You voted for it. You're an absolute tool and I shan't be engaging with you for the foreseeable you tedious little twerp.
And yes, they have been invited here. Anyone has the right to seek asylum in any country of their choosing and the right to make that journey in an unconventional manner if need be.
Good day, Sir.

Afghan families in Edinburgh still waiting on permanent housing
The delay in providing permanent homes in Edinburgh has been blamed on a shortage of social housing, according to the refugee report.
Council officers warned: “Availability of permanent social housing remains a city-wide challenge.
“It is also important to note that Afghan families can require properties with four bedrooms or more, a configuration which is typically in extremely short supply within social housing stock.”

10. Well over 200,000 asylum claims failed between 2004 and 2018 and enforcement action is often required to monitor and remove rejected claimants who have no right to be here. The overall net budget for Immigration Enforcement is currently £392 million and has declined by £47 million since 2015/16 when it was £439 million.[9] Only an (unknown) portion of this budget will be devoted to enforcing the rules as they relate to failed asylum seekers. The latest HO figures show that 41,600 failed applicants are still in the country despite being “subject to removal”, up from 24,700 in 2011 (see figure 4 below).
