Not looking very nice to say the least! A tad blowy and wet.

Parked in a school car park about 20 mins walk away for the 3-1 cup win a few years back. Walking back to the car after the win I realised I’d dropped my car keys somewhere - traced my steps back to no avail. My euphoria at the victory had dissipated by the time I got back to the car hoping I’d dropped them near it - and it was still there! Even better I found I’d actually left them in the lock - eejit! Happiness restored though

I think that's the game I went to with @Bozza and my dad. Very very very wet. If I recall correctly the rain stopped pretty much as the game finished.

McDugald and Minton took Plucky apart.

Just a few hundred Albion there rattling around at the back of that rubbish side stand.

The win made it worthwhile.

By coincidence I was buying a secondhand car from a dealers (via Exchange & Mart) in Poole. Got the trains there, drove back.

After the game it was carnage
Yup. I stood in a P&R queue for the best part of an hour that night, absolutely drenched, and with what was basically a river running over my shoes. You reach a point where you just give up.

As for Satdee. I am SO GLAD I will be Firesticking it in my living room with a few beers. I have absolutely no intention of leaving the house.

It was the wettest I’ve ever been at a match - in the train queue for what seemed like forever with an overnight stay in Gatwick to look forward to. Got a lot better from that game on though until one night in Rome
Agree - I came straight from work in a newish blue suit- dry clean only. I walked back to the Bridge in monsoon conditions and the dye from the suit had stained most of me ending up looking like a rain sodden Smurf .

Really looking forwards to this game. I've a front row seat and have packed sun lotion, surely it's hot in B'muff.
Only good news is I'm on ST coach, 200 yard dash into the ground. Cant remember, do they have TV screens we can watch the game on in the concourse.

At least our manager isn’t someone who is tied to one style that is somewhat less than ideal to those conditions.

Strong winds and torrential rain inevitably make a game more chaotic and harder to control.
I keep reading people say this, yet I am not really sure what our style is if it's not a marginally less extreme version of RDZ ball?

Anyway, looking forward to seeing how our gazillion fit attackers get on tomorrow in the storm. Slightly different from last season with Mark O'Mahony leading the line!

I do recall getting so soaked at a Withdean game against Rochdale that there was no point in trying to keep out of the rain anymore, everything I was wearing physically couldn’t get any wetter. I recall some left near me on about 30 minutes! Without having checked, I think it finished 3-4 or something like that?
