I do recall getting so soaked at a Withdean game against Rochdale that there was no point in trying to keep out of the rain anymore, everything I was wearing physically couldn’t get any wetter. I recall some left near me on about 30 minutes! Without having checked, I think it finished 3-4 or something like that?
You beat me to it. You know the definition of wet if you were at that Friday night game. Anything else is just light drizzle!

I think I remember a match against Bradford City. Perhaps the one that broke the 12 losses in a row series. Absolute deluge all match.

The dull part of the south coast
Really looking forwards to this game. I've a front row seat and have packed sun lotion, surely it's hot in B'muff.
Only good news is I'm on ST coach, 200 yard dash into the ground. Cant remember, do they have TV screens we can watch the game on in the concourse.
This is the only game where we can sing “You dirty Southern bas****s!” to the opposition. :drink:

I think that's the game I went to with @Bozza and my dad. Very very very wet. If I recall correctly the rain stopped pretty much as the game finished.
Kept radio Sussex on all the way down waiting for the game to be called off. Seem to remember sitting in the car until about 2:45pm when they finally confirmed the game would go,ahead.

When we got into the ground, the pitch had puddles on it and amazed the game started and finished. Junior’s goal was when the ball got lumped forward and then stopped in the water and he used his pace to beat the defence and then slot it past the keeper.

Certainly looks as though it may be a tad damp.

Thankfully it's a southerly, and being wedged in the SE corner we should get some cover.

Wouldn't want to be at the front though.
As it’s PotG you can decide whether to bother going tomorrow depending on how the weather looks. Probably worth leaving Brighton no later than 1 to get there in time for kick off though….
