Indeed, Stoke had a dream of possession based football and err...it went horribly wrong. He could have saved himself a fortune then, backed Hughton instead of this shite show gamble...

Sick of hearing/reading this shit, the league table don’t lie, Potter’s win percentage is diabolical he’s not a genius coach far from it. We play one way, play often breaks down at the edge of the opponent’s box, subs are often the wrong choice and don’t impact games. And to top it all has the arrogance to slag of the clubs fan base when things get on top him.
US is deluded, at least he's consistent. Icy is having a moment. But, does have a point, Potter has an ideal and I think nearly all of us are agreed that when it works, it's sexy disco football . . . Unfortunately that's 5 wins a season. It would appear his best compromise is 10 draws, if we're lucky.
We'll never be top 6 with this gang.
Yes knowing the outcome 9/10’times before a ball is kicked isn’t a very appealing prospect. Considering many supporters give up a day let alone the cost to attend home games I think it definitely would of become toxic. He is really getting away with it during lockdown. The Amex would be toxic with these awful home performances. One win in the last 18 PL games is appalling and unacceptable. I wonder how Bloom would be reacting if faced with a regular storm of boos and chanting, instead of a whole host of frustrated keyboard warriors, unseen and unheard
Really? How can you feel sorry for a millionaire who's failing at the task? All things considered, he's still failing.
I’d watch Potterball in the championship way ahead of Hughtonball in the PL.
Maupay came to us full of confidence and it showed in his first season, now he just looks broken. Somethings not right behind the scenes. It often happens to players when they stop believing in the coach/manager’s tactics.Because our forwards are poor to crap at EPL level. They really are.
Not just in tucking away more of the chances or half chances, but in failing to provide assists (damning stats) and screwing up the final pass.
A genuine question, who would you recruit as our new manager for the final 12 games and in the Championship/EPL next season?
[Has to be a realistic choice of someone who’d join us and who’s willing to work with TB’s three-line-whip of not spending on the wages/fee demanded by elite strikers].
It’s sad all people remember is a dodgy three months where CH is concerned. Second season in the PL is normally tough for any newly promoted side.I dont get this Hughtonball bashing. Potter has achieved no more than Hughton as it stands. Promise of top ten is just that.....promise & fantasy.
Who knows if Potter takes us down if his football will be as easy on the eye compared to say Hughton's Forest now. Potters football may seem easy on the eye but it could also see us tumbling down the league's. FWIW I am in the Potter must stay gang but comparing the last six months of Hughtons reign with the possibility of championship football under Potter is like comparing a meal at The Savoy against a chinese takeaway,.........but I am not sure which is best or best for this club!

If Potter doesn't have the strikers to play Potterball then he needs to adapt his game to suit the strikers he does have.
Hoping that his current strikeforce will suddenly turn into world-beaters if he keeps on doing the same thing over and over again is delusional.
No, I don't have the answer but then I'm not paid to have it.

8 to 1 but 25 to 1, 2 games ago
13/2 now with Betfair.
3 wins will keep us up

We would be top 6 with 2 decent strikers and that is a fact.
Rub is Tony has to put in £ 50 m plus to secure this and fulfill Potter's plan. Feel sorry for Potter he has the plan but does not have the quality upfront to deliver it.
We are so close to being a top 6 side. We will stay up no chance we will be relegated but he must take a punt for next season but it will cost. £ 20 m in this league does not cut the mustard I am afraid
I don’t think he can have
8-10 points if we are lucky
