Fraser came on and had a stormer, Carole was unlucky to hit the bar when 6 yards out and one-on-one, Forster was screwed by the pitch, and we were clearly the better side. Can't fault the team, effort or commitment of the players.

Unlucky lads - no moaning here. Let's be ENCOURAGED by the performance, and not reflect on the f***ing stupid formation, the shit defending, the wank finishing from Davies, the total lack of imagination to turn the game around, or the fact we're now in the bottom four having played a game more than everyone else.

Quite right, two goal defeats are good results according to some so one can only congratulate the lads and the coaching staff on todays monumental effort, they tried and that's all we can ask of them, who cares about points and winning games anyway?

So where are all the replies congratulating me on such a fair summary of a much-improved Albion side?

Fickle idiots.

Have to say that was as dreadful a performance as I've seen all season. Wasn't expecting that at all after Tuesday. Shockingly bad :nono:

It really is time for Adams to do the honourable thing and bugger off. I for one have had more than enough of him.

Don't quite agree with that, unless you don't go very often. We have had some utterly dire 90 minutes this season.

The first half was bad, with some very bad defensive errors. But the attitude and the response of the team in the second half was positive, and we were very unlucky not to get a couple of goals back.

The pitch was an absolute disgrace though. Whoever is responsible should be sacked. But not the manager. Not yet.

Well I've been to every home game except MK Dons and don't recall a single one as being quite so bad. In H Block, the few of us that were left, were just laughing for the last 20 minutes. OK, it could be argued once again that we didn't get the rub of the green, and Nicky Forster would never miss that chance so badly once in the next thousand attempts, but the amount of aerial tennis was abysmal, and we were betting on which letter of the Legal & General Family Stand billboard the next free kick on the edge of the box would hit (for info, Dover came closest by nominating the first 'L' of 'Legal' when in fact it hit the second 'L' in 'Legal') . We have to pick up points somewhere along the way, and today was exactly the kind of game to start doing that. If only because the few loser sides below us keep playing each other, and each time that happens, there's three or one-apiece points to be allocated. And while we're being beat, then the teams below us are creeping up on us. It really don't look good at the moment.

On another day we would have got more, we hit the bar, and Forster was undone by the pitch. The first twenty minutes of the second half we worked hard and were positive as time went on we did lose a bit of direction but overall the effort in the second half was a big improvement on the first. We had one of those days, we are having a lot of them at the moment. But individually the team is stronger than for a number of years and when they gel we will improve. This has to come quickly but the negative, whiny attitude some fans seem to have at the moment is getting boring, and I mean those at the ground not on here. I don't read enough of them seriously on here to worry!! We have been disappointing at home but getting on players back at the earliest opportunity is not right. It may be a novel idea but lets really get behind them. We have two home games left this month both are winnable but the team need support. Adams is not going anywhere whether you agree or not try focussing on the team and supporting them. Why spend hundreds watching them to sit and moan?

Effort alone isn't enough. Hitting the bar isn't getting a shot on target. And the pitch is the same for both sides. I don't know how people can keep defending the shit that's being served up at the moment.

Sorry, but that's just peurile. The team GET support. They get more support than, say, Millwall, would give their team if they played like that. The team got applauded onto the pitch, Tommy Elphick got his usual applause at the start of the half from H Block, Nicky Forster got huge numbers of 'Keep It Going Nicky' throughout the game, and McNulty and Davies got a high level of applause back from the running track for applauding the fans in the South Stand at the end of the game. So don't give it that happy-clappy 'Get Behind The Team' shit anymore. It's meaningless

So should we be silent or start abusing them from the start? I know we have been served up shite this season, and for most of today. But I also think we can help. Yet again the atmosphere today was dreadful, especially in the first half. I know it takes something to turn up, pay good money, and get excited about things at the moment. But if we want to stay up and build success, I do think the fans can help. I completely understand why people are so f***ed off this season. But I think we are needed to help what must be a team lacking in confidence.

We've just played 2 games this week that were winnable but we lost both, It's all very well saying the team need support but it's got to the point where we need a team to support instead of a bunch of headless chickens.
