We have 2 games in hand on Orient. To finish above them should mean we'll be safe. xxx

Not that we deserved to win or played really well, but some of the football we played in the match was better than the other dross that has been served up this year.

Davies, Carole and Forster all had easy chances.

The fact that we've been shit for so long is making people come away from matches with slightly tainted views of the individual match itself - describing it as atrocious, embarassing, etc. When they wern't as bad as you might think.

Still doesn't hide the fact the position we are in is inexcusable, Adams tactics are terrible, and for the majoirty of the season we have been dire.

What worries me is that Adams doesn't seem to have a clue about how tighten up the defence. When Wilkins wanted to shut up shop he would go to the diamond formation & squeeze play. Adams sole tactic appears to be "lump it in the box and something will fall for us".

How anyone can defend Adams is absolutely beyond me. Our squad is FULL of talent.

Sullivan,
Whing, Elphick, Virgo, McNulty
Carole, Jarrett, Livermore, Cox
Forster, Davies

That is a very very good side in this division. In reserve we have players like Hinsh, McLeod, Murray, Kuipers and more who would get in many other teams.

But instead of using their talent they're told to get the ball in the box as much as possible. And that's tactics for the 80s
