Two up front is an outdated system

Don’t agree with you. We’ve played our best football with two up front. Connolly and Maupay seem to me to have a decent understanding of who should drop to look for the pass in from midfield and who to look to make the run in behind. If both have pace, movement and fitness, it can work.

Out of possession it has benefits too. Villa coughed up 2 goals to City getting harried into mistakes. Two up top gives you a bigger pack to hunt with. I think we should be doing it on Saturday.
