Working alongside Pep and having worked under Wenger you would hope that some of their managerial nous would have rubbed off on Arteta but he would be a huge gamble.

One of my other concerns with Arteta would be who we would get in to work alongside him - as he will need to have a number 2 working alongside him who is experienced and who he trusts. Just have to look as far as Hyppia to be able to see how he faired when working at Bayer Leverkusen with Sascha Lewandowski and then without to see how important they can be to a managers success.
