Keegan and Dalgleish both did OK. For that matter, Bob Paisley did pretty well too. A totally new to the job Mullery did OK too, although he had to get us to the top flight first.

Not in the last 25 years then !

Yes. David O'Leary took his first managerial role with Leeds in 98. At the end of his first season they finished 4th in the League and qualified for the Uefa Cup. Following season they got to the semi final in Europe and finished 3rd in the League qualifying for the Champions League and he took them to the semi finals of that in the 99-00 season. He also blooded a lot of academy players in those seasons also.

Tbf most of us were saying a big NO to Phil Neville...

It's a shame the club didn't scratch that itch.
Neville would have provided some much needed unity on NSC.
