It should be banned in your own home too.

Cameras should be installed in everyone's home to make sure that they are obeying the rules too.

I would also like to see government enforced diets for the overweight, and books not sanctioned by the state should be banned.

Burned, then banned.

Christ, your world would be a bundle of laughs!!! Then again, I could do with losing a few pounds...ok stone!! Where do I sign?! :D

You don't sign. Your participation is mandatory.

Failure to comply is punishable by death.

But beyond that, it's completely your own choice.

Just smoke in the bogs like you did at school, and have someone on guard at the entrance in case the headmaster is coming.

Sorry, but you are a perfect example of a me, me,me c**t. I am an ex smoker, for health scare reasons, and I will NEVER go back to smoking. It is called personal choice, if someone wishes to step outside of the physical confines of the stadium and spark up, why not? Unless you point of view is more important than those of others?

I gave up smoking on surgeons advice when I had mouth cancer. His actual words were give up now or don't book a holiday for next year because you will lose the deposit, that was in 1995 and I smoked 20+ large cigars a day.

I now feel that it entirely a personal thing as to whether anybody smokes or not but it isn't as to whether or not I become a passive smoker due to their actions.s It is now impossible for non smokers to sit outside of a pub or coffee shop in hot weather and not be subjected to passive smoking. Is this a free choice?

Would make it easier for everyone if smokers could just inject themselves with nicotine.

So because you gave up smoking you have the divine right to stop others?

Got to the ground early today - too early, and quite fancied a smoke before the game - around 1:30pm. Was told that under no circumstance could anyone get out and get back in again. Surely a cordoned off smoking area wouldn't be too much of a hassle would it? I mean, if they had one, I'm sure they would see an increase in business at the counters before the game, I would guess that a lot of smokers stay away till the last minute to get a last puff in before kick off.

(Sensible) Thought's anyone?

Confucious say; "man who go to ground early get penalty".

Yours is no fags til the end of the match when you leave
(Confucious also laugh at own wisdom. :lolol: )

I'm an ex smoker and think there should be somewhere for them to go. As long as it doesn't interfere with others then what the hell ... as it is a bloke a row behind me and a few along lights up every half time and nobody gives a toss

I do not want to stop others from smoking and perhaps killing themselves that is their choice but don't want them to help me pass on by their smoking around me. I am sure the club could hire one of the fields opposite the ground and allow them a pass out at half time to go into that and have a smoke, if they must have one and my sons fall into that category of smokers who must have one

The point I'm making is that if there WAS somewhere to go, you non and ex smokers wouldn't have to walk through the smoky haze on the way out of the exits. It would benefit everyone - club could potentially make more money, smokers could have a half time fag, and non smokers wouldn't have to walk through or past the fag smoke

If smoking was banned outright then then the NHS would go bust. Smokers cost the nhs billions but smokers bring in mor. If all smokers stopped over night then everyones taxes would go up 4p in the pound.
