We looked like a bottom 3 side today

Good to see NSC back to a bit of over reaction and drivel. One ordinary half (we were good in the first half, especially the first half hour) and a few people moaning like we are actually bottom of the league. We're still unbeaten, have 29 points from 13 games and are four points clear at the top. Most teams in this division would struggle without three quarters of their midfield.

Let's make it really clear for you. I am talking about today's game, not the season so far, not the league position, not the unbeaten run,

I am talking about players not putting in a shift today. Players that should be able to come and do a job. Ince was a liability today and Hemed looked disinterested. The passing was woeful at times.

I would say we were very average first half and very poor in the second.

Completely disagree re first half. We played well (especially first half hour).

I realise you are talking about today but it's still a massive over reaction. We had a poor second half but to say we were anything like a bottom three team today is ridiculous and, frankly, this thread is completely pointless.

I stated on another thread in the week that we could not lose Kayal and Stephens at the same time, i actually thought that Kayal took an easy yellow on Tues, at that time Stephens was not unwell, and i thought just the one out would be fine..with Crofts coming in.
Unfortunately neither Crofts or Ince played a forward ball.. and Ince was woeful.
Preston were poor, which is why we got the draw, small mercies that it was not a decent side we faced today.

Today's performance wouldn't have looked out of place under Hyypia. No creativity and no one taking any risks with the ball. (except for Murphy) it was all to safe passing sideways until we cross it in poorly and it's get headed away as Hemed was out of the game. Crofts and Ince not good enough today to win the ball back

Oh do me a lemon

You start a thread saying we looked like a bottom 3 side today, and then get snarky when people call you up on having a meltdown. If you actually don't THINK we're a bottom 3 side, then don't put the suggestion in your attention-seeking Daily Star headline.

No we weren't great by any means, but we were missing 3 or 4 key players and came up against a well organised outfit, which Simon Grayson sides generally are. Try to deal with it, without flidding out on the hyperbole.

Top of the league and we're "amateurish" ?? Go and have a beer.

Hyperbole and pot and kettle and black

We dominated in the first half. It should have all been done and dusted by half time. We still have not replaced Barnes and Ulloa. Get a couple of decent strikers in and we will stroll this division. We also need to sure up the defence. Regarding Ince and Crofts, both need match time.
