Personally I don't like this song either because it just constantly reminds me of Palace every time we sing it. I know its not a Palace song but I don't like singing it. Everything else is brilliant.

absolutely

this song will never catch on with a significant section of the crowd until it's more inclusive - as it's different from the call-response "We're the West/North stand...."

some people don't like it - fine - but the fact that loads of people take part in the wooah bit and then don't sing the words is a signal the current words don't work for many people but that they would be willing to join with something better.

first off there's too many syllables in the existing one, which makes it sound too rushed and wordy (e.g. 'We are the North Stand', is almost twice that of the original 'We Love You')

secondly, "the Albion", "the Sussex", "the Sea" ? why the need for the extra word during the best bit of the song - the bit where it sounds really booming when just SEA, SEA, SEA (or similar)

Always pains me to discuss this song because it reminds me how good it sounded when the palarse away fans sang it. SLOWLY.

We will never manage it, as we have too many mongs that love to clap .. clap .. clap . clap . clap.clap.clapclapclapclapclap.
