I'm not 100% convinced by Henderson at times, but I think the hero-worship of Kuipers is bordering on the ridiculous. During teh Yeovil game, some miserable old git behind me was moaning about getting Kuipers back in, yet not one of those goals was down to Henderson. Why not blame Cox, or Hinshelwood, or Butters, for their mistakes in the build up? But no, he has to pick on Henderson.
From what I've seen (admittedly only on TV), Henderson simply slipped over for the Bournemouth goal. It could have happened to any player on the pitch, it was soaking wet.
Yes it was hugely disappointing to lose to a goal like that, but I can't see how people can justify booing him for something that's not even really a mistake, just an extremely unfortunate slip. I bet he feels like utter shit right now, yet what happened was arguably unavoidable.
Or are you going to blame him for choosing the wrong boots now?
FFS, we really can't afford to destroy what little confidence he must have left, or we'll be in even deeper shit. I'd have been ashamed if I'd been there while people booed Henderson.
