well here it is............

I wasn't that impressed with McGammon today even though he scored on his debut. He lacks any pace and so balls over top don't pay dividends and his 'control' or first touch was diabolical as was his heading ability. He got into wide positions today but couldn't deliver one decent cross. :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

.......and there it was, not supprising really and any one got a vid of his goal:lolol

I really think people miss the point with McCammon.

McCammon is not quick and his touch isn't great. But he is a constant physical threat to other defenders, can hold the ball up ok and gets the odd goal. Not great if your near the top but a player like him who mucks in can really help in a relegation campaign. Especially when the reast of your forwards are lightweight.

I think a lot of people on here are very short sighted when it comes to McCammon.

Having Mark McCammon is like having a brick wall in your side. He might be a threat, but that is all - a threat, no end product. He CAN 'Hold the ball up', but is not known for it, and yes, does score the odd goal. The very odd goal.

I appreciate your support for him, and if he is deemed fit to wear the stripes, then I support him too but I have never seen a Brighton player with such a clumsy, uncomfortable, awkward flailing carthorse approach to football who you need second sight to work out where his flick-ons may end up, and who has only one pre-setting - 'KICK'. He is a danger to his opponents, his team mates, and low-flying aircraft alike.

Just my opinion, like.

How about this poll instead:

Would the team currently benefit from having McCammon in it?
Would the team currently not benefit from having McCammon in it?
