From our view in the family stand, I ain't got a clue, but my boy was adamant it was definately over ( though I've no idea how he can be so sure ).

Don't care anyway; 'tis the three points that matter to me

I was all the way back in J block, so all the goals were scored at the wrong end for me

So obviously I didn't have a great view.

But I just watched the goal on Sky Sports News and it looked a little bit dubious to me. I mean there was no goa line technology, but still looked like a pretty tight decision to give it as a goal.

I guess sometimes they count, and sometimes they don't.

Whatever, I'll take the three points thanks very much!

im in b block, dead level on the goal line and it did NOT go in, no-one thought it did, it didnt even look close to going over the line! gary hary was level too, and possibly with a better view than the lino and he was saying there is no way it went in. Still 3 points!

We were sat in the North Stand, bang on the line. Out of 6 of us only Superwife reckons it was in. The lino put his flag up straight away, but there are 5 of us who reckon it was not in. If there was goal line technology I reckon that would not have been a goal.

They were indicating he was at least a yard off side, even though Murray ran past the defender.

As for the other one, it was Gary Hart who apparently didn't think it was over.

He would have had a very good view.

From the disabled area is actually not a bad view (looking at that corner) to determine whether the ball crossed the line.

Wasn't in there today, but spoke to someone who was and they didn't think it went in.

From low down in D block, I thought it went over.

I was low down in D block and I couldn't see, but the guy next to me(who may have even been you Clapham Gull) said it was, the linesman gave it and so did the ref - so thats good enough for me. I don't think we deserved 3 points, but i'll take them thankyou very much

It wasnt in the keeper was off his line, and the defender on the post got there! i think the cheers influnced the lino, he did slightly hestitate to put his flag up, but like everyone else has said at the end of the day it was given and we have the 3 points!

Top of D Block me and a few friends were in histerics(sp??) as it didn't look anywhere near in. However the guys next to us were convinced it was so I will go with the lino as he is the only one that matters.

From my vantage point in C block it looked in and the lino looked well placed to give it. Also, the first reaction of one of their players on/near the line was 'oh no!', then he seemed to change his mind and go after the lino, so I would say he thought it was in as well. Though obviously their manager had the best view from ground level on the half way line

Their manager should have been red carded for that petulant display well outside the technical area.

I spoke to a couple of people who were well placed in the North Stand, and they did not think it was over the line.
One bloke I chatted with outside the ground, was close to where the linesman was, but a few feet into pitch level - and he was convinced it was over the line.

What I got from this, is that this could have been an example of time and light curvature, where aspect is influenced by dimensional co-incidence. Thus there is a momentary warp in a certain area of the atmosphere - in this case very close to the ground. Although we are aware that the goal lines on the pitch are straight, this does not matter or even exist to dimensionally influenced atmospheric warp.
Things that actually exist in a relationship to each other are not changed, but their distances appear totally different when the onlooker is seeing them through this phenomenon.

It really was a goal, in one dimension, but not remotely over the line in another.
