But in terms of PR, wouldn't having a Muslim member of the royal family would be good for them?

Not sure Prince Phillip is too bothered about PR. Especially at the thought of a raghead being in his family.

Yeah, easier ways to kill someone, but name an easier way to kill someone and make it look like an accident.

I could tell ya, but I'd have to kill ya.

Yes assasinated as she would have had a brown baby and no King of England can ever have a brown brother or sister.

In some (unlikely) circumstances they would have. And it would mean that the future King (and head of the Church of England) had a muslim half brother and stepfather.

Diana was divorced by then.

I'm pretty sure that would mean any children she bore after the divorce would have no claim to the throne because they wouldn't be of the royal line.

If Charles had an illigitimate child they would be, but not Diana.

As far as i understand the rights to succession its only children of the Heirs to the throne that can lay claim to it.

You may well be right, but I have definitely read that there were some circumstances in which they (or their decendants) would have a claim to the throne. No idea what they are or whether this is true though!

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
On the Tupac Shakur front - We had a annual remembrance service and we were encouraged to enter names to be read out. One chap volunteered Tupac Shakur - only for the Priest to pronounce it....Tup-pack shaker. I have never heard such a roar of laughter at a remembrance service.

Diana - assasinated? Maybe. Maybe not.

Get rid of the sodding lot of them. From the greek/german saxcoburgs to whoever else may want the bloody thing. It's about time we became citizens instead of subjects.

Are you one of Cromwell's descendents? :lolol:

But in all seriousness while they might be a bit of a pain in the arse at times nations with Monarchys as their heads of state do tend to be more politically stable than republics.

If illegitimacy stopped the line of inheritance what about Andrew Porchester and Edward Plunket, otherwise known as Princes Andrew and Edward ?

Allegedly ???

and in answer, of course she wasn't assassinated, she was driven into a wall by a pissed up driver - end of story

Not really no.

IF she had married him he wouldv'e become the stepfather to the future Head of the Church of England.

Even the Liberals in this country wouldn't have liked that!
