It's not inconcievable that Sussex could win the championship again you know. Winning this game would put Sussex about 25 points behind Warks with a game in hand...

We'd be 33 points behind Warks with a game in hand.

Still don't think we'll win this - my blushes will be spared.

Remember the 2nd or 3rd test against West Indies at Edgebaston - Gilo had a field day on the last day when it took quite a bit of turn.

Get Mushy on to bowl at Knight the left hander - bowl into those footmarks, an easy wicket surely !!

A few days ago we were talking about relegation. I hope Warwickshire don't win the County Championship, even if that means Surrey do. My boss is a Warwickshire supporter and I couldn't stand his gloating :nono:

Are you cunningly trying to make it sound like you said this on response to Sussex winning the league rather than just this game??

I concede it's still a big ask, but we've got the momentum right now...

ya too little too late for us this season, still if we can end it on a high we might do better all round next season and properly challenge for what is rightly OURS :)

No, I don't think we'll win either. If we win this game, we'd have quite a good chance of winning the league but Warks batting is too strong.

We need to break this stand soon as it is becoming dangerous. Could still win promotion in the National League. Being in both top divisions next year would be a boost and a good start would put us in contention especially with Lancashire looking likely to go down.

Lancashire and Yorkshire playing each other in the bottom division. That would have seemed unlikely a few years ago.:lolol:

lunch - looks like we're the only side interested in winning the game........
