Agree with Indonesia although Afghanistan point is flakey.

I read Karzi's hand had been strengthened by the election and he'd have to turn a blind I to some of the warlords antics untill the afghan state infrastructure is rebuilt. which is a few years away, ditto Iraq but they are both moving in the right direction.

Even if true it works out at 10% dissertion rate for total Iraq forces in Falluja in an isolated incident. Mainly sunnis and the reports state that the desertions were tempoary(not to fight there own kind). Hardly adds up to the guff you posted did it?

Just to add into the debate. Iran is at least five years from having anything like a recognised usable nuclear weapon. Before this time is up expect either the US or the Iranians to undertake a strike to set back the programme. It has happened before and will happen again and I am all in favour of that. I would much rather have our allies in control of nukes rather than those that burn our flag.
