is it actually a minority when it comes to millwall fans? it seems to me that the minority is the 'normal' humans who just support their local club and are proper fans....it is the majority that are the f***ing idiots

the sad thing is that it wasn't just teenage kids who were having their first drink, these were blokes in their 20's and 30's....why haven't they learnt that shouting that a group of people (that include children and elderly) have aids isn't an acceptable way to behave?

they're not hard at all.........i'm fairly young (25) so don't have much experience of the "good old days" (or whatever) of millwall....but i get the impression that those guys were genuinely hard blokes.....the millwall lot today AREN'T HARD, they love the 'reputation' of millwall without having the balls to act in that way.....shouting at a crowd from across a platform/behind a barrier in groups of 5-10....not hard....just twattish

Leaving the ground I also heard a bunch of Millwall supporters giving it large with the usual Gay bollocks. Heard one of our own supporters shout back Seagulls and was told to f*** off.
I am afraid that small minority of these Millwall supporters are the lowest of the low. No education, No manners, and no idea how to act in public. Welcome to the UK's finest, make me so proud to be british.

And hearing about this HIV / Aids thing being shouted is 100% completely unaceptable.

I hope the club report Millwall to the FA, and I hope they have to pay for their carnage. Very much doubt the pussies at the FA will do anything about it.
If I had my way I would ban Millwall supporters from our matches in future, because from a cost point of view from policing and hassle its not worth it. Its also going to eventually put families off coming to The Amex, we can't afford to do this.

The police will nick the odd big mouth when they are in small groups but generally they can shout and do pretty much what they want when they come here. I`ve been watching their antics from the early seventies,, coming down here and I know of people who kept away last night because of the worries of taking their kids to the match so why the feck we just dont ban away fans at this fixture I dont know.
If you think it will ruin the atmostphere and that is more important then you are mad. They have pitiful lives these people and this is IT for them.
Do we have to give every club tickets ? Shame if the answer is yes.

Totally agree with Questions ( first time for everything ) and Bash on this.

I didn't go last night because I just knew what to expect from Millwall, and didn't want my boy in the area.

It's a shame that a lad of that age who loves the Albion misses his first home game of the season because of people intent on trouble.

Sure, I could have got a taxi / wrapped him up in cotton wool / chain mail or whatever, by why should I have to?

Every other game this season, we've been to the pub pre and after match and had a great time, not so with this lot in town.

Unless we have to sell Millwall tickets in future, I really can't see why we should.

Due to our shared loathing of Palarse, have never had anything particularly against Millwall Fans...until about an hour ago that is.

Waiting for the train into Brighton, with many kids present, there was the most aggressive and vitriolic homophobic abuse aimed towards the Brighton fans which I have ever witnessed in my 25 years of supporting the Albion. What looked like a few BNP salutes were in evidence too. Culminated in a fight breaking out.

Proper nasty stuff, no need or place for it.

Was the same at Palace before the game , they were throwing beer glasses at us while dishing out abuse, all very nasty and unnecesary.

I'd hate to see a club go out of business, be it a small club like Darlo or a bigger one that like Pompey.
