Hopefully this will force our hand with VvD, I think centre-back is now our weakest position with the addition of Ulloa.

He's not a centre half...

He's played left back and centre back. Very comfortable there apparently

Greers injury was a blessing in disguise, Calde played brilliantly at centre back bringing the ball out and I think right back is Spanish Daves best position...

not entirely in disagreement but opposition managers will just put a couple of big guys up front and lob long high balls in until we make the inevitable gaffe.......... mobility is great but you need height in the British game

Calde done a more than capable job against a champions league team....next week we play Sheffield Wednesday not Arsenal.

Hammond can slot in if needed as well.

If Hammond was playing at centre half with AEA and someone had a quick forward we'd get mauled. Calde on the other hand is a great stop gap.

Spanish Dave is too valuable in the midfield, and Bruno is an excellent right back, especially when Buckley is playing.
