No it wasn't someone (can't remember who) got right in front of handlebar and impeded his path to the ball.
It was a tough but good shout by the ref.

I was there too great day out, was at university in Liverpool at the time and met a mate at the station who had my ticket. I thought barnes was running the show then they took him off. Small and Crumplin were amazing.
By any chance were any of you in the Haigh (poly bar) that night ? Saw some albion fans, who probably thought I was a dodgy scouser walked right up to one of them and from about 6inches away shouted 'Johnny Crumplin football genius', realised there were quite a few albion fans there.

I was only 20 then.
