Meh, great player but not very good as manager of Anderlecht. I don't think his Burnley side have been very good this year at all.

If RDZ was to go, I'd hope for someone a little bit more exciting than the current Burnley manager. At the same time, it wouldn't be the end of the world.

The players have let him down badly. They get into great positions but always fluff their lines. Reminds me of another side....

I don't know if that's actually true tbh. They were superb in the Championship but as we know with Hughton, that doesn't necessarily make for a great free-flowing PL side.

The fact that they claim to play an expansive style, with the 12th highest possession and number of passes in the division, but still have the second lowest xG in the division, and the second least amount of shots, implies that they don't actually create much tactically, and the fact that they're outscoring their xG implies that they're taking more chances than they're fluffing.

Yes, he had a great season last year which might suggest he can do something superb with better players (though I think the fact their top goalscorer in the Championship has just won the Bundesliga as part of the longest unbeaten side in German history might have been quite a big factor outside of his control), but I think the evidence of Anderlecht and this season might also suggest that he is a very average possession based manager.

Are they not the youngest squad in the PL? Don’t know about anyone else but I thought they looked a good side both times we played them. If RDZ is off I wouldn’t be against him coming here. He’s not a moaner though I hope? Had enough of that this season thanks

It's probably because of the nice round of applause we gave him (well some of us did) when he was subbed off in 2019.

Firstly, he's a much bigger moaner than RDZ is, so strap in.

Secondly, young squad or not, the stats show that they like to control possession and not take shots. We know that their style looks good, but it is toothless as f***. If you find playing nice football but never scoring is what you want, then go all in for Vincent.

Was that part of Toothgate and the reason for him being a grumpy fecker on his return?

Toothache was early February.

End of March was the narrow loss away to Liverpool, after which De Zerbi said "I have another two years of contract and to work on next season in Brighton. I don't need to extend another year or another two years on the contract. I can stay, I can work in Brighton with the extension, without the extension, nothing change."

His team got 101 points in the Championship last season! I think the mistake he's made has been trying to play the same way in the Premier Leasue with a similarly talented group of players. Give him a squad of Premier League quality players, such as we have, and it might be a different story.

Let's face it, on paper not a single one of Burnley's starting 11 would've got into our starting 11 last week, would they? Yet, we were lucky to come away with a point.

Brighton factually.....
That is that then RDZ if off, no wonder the players look forlorn....

Why should I bother rocking up on Thursday...
