We are going to have to let Everton think they can play it out V us at first next week. First game of new season. Evertonians hopeful without any points drductions. Go easy on them. Then try and use our mega press to snatch a goal preventing them from another hour or so of the Dyche shit housery, low block, time wasting, big man bollocks he has made a career of.

Do this instead of the inevitable ugly 1-0 / 1-1 they'll get if they just boot it for 90 minutes.

Great result and good work out for all. Appreciate all the praise for Minteh but he really needs to look at clips of Saka and see as well as great going forward is outstanding at defending. In PL all FBs need help from wide players. Surely we need somebody with more legs in MF than Milner. Cant see him able to cover FB positions very often

Worthing
Booked my ticket ages ago.

Incredibly, some **** had already nabbed my seat.
there were only a couple of dozen taken from my section and someone had nabbed by f***ing seat.

I will be sitting directly behind them, in a bit of a huff.
wankers.
Apologies if it was me, we tried the north today….
I’m sure someone looked huffy behind me 😂😂

I Missed two of our goals but all in all a good run out although the first five minutes we looked very vulnerable but after that we grew into the game its much like RDZ style with added Schnapps.

our work rate was impressive closing down of players when we lost the ball which was a tactic used by some of the opposition last season against us to great effec.

Thought he mastered that in the first half, admittedly I didn’t notice in the second.

Streets ahead of Adingra in that area.

Minteh’s work off the ball to win it back was outstanding.

He’s an absolute menace all round.

Very encouragiing performances.

Real dilemmas about who makes the squad and who goes out on loan.

Thought Sarmiento's pressing was exceptional.
But is it enough to keep him at the club?

Terrific day for the new players and returnees.

Minteh. Mom. Utter menace
Ayari. Looks a proper PL midfielder. Let's play him
Sarmiento. Making stuff happen
Wieffer. Looks much fitter

But also

Milner. He'll be starting the season
Baleba. He'll be back up LB until Pervis fit. Very good off his weaker foot and an effective barrier
Welbeck. Prolific in pre season. He's breaking the 10 mark this season. If he stays fit, I'll call it now, he'll get over 15
Hinsh. Assuming no arrivals, will likely arm wrestle that RB spot off Joel
Steele. Not giving me any worries at all. Passing once again, terrific
Barco. Vital player for us now
Cheers fella. I was not there, could not watch and cannot be arse to read the whole thread.
