Their goalkeeper of that day, Ludek Miklosko, has incurable cancer and very sadly only has a couple of years to live. It doesn't make sense - a man who was so physically fit and agile.

He was also in goal for my first ever Albion match against West Ham on Wednesday 10th April 1991 when John Byrne's low shot took a bobble and proved to be the matchwinner. Only four days before that match you mentioned!

Chris Hughton was left-back for the Hammers that day too.

He doesn’t really mean that, what he means is I need to mention the bad corner decision without outright complaining about it. It’s much smarter than outright saying “I’ve seen it, it was a terrible decision”. That’s emotional intelligence for you.
