He is the most skillful player to ever where the stripes in my opinion.
Been going for 40 odd years now, so seen all the candidates, Ward, Lawrenson etc. In my opinion he is the most talented player to play for the seagulls bar none. There are times when he has the ball with 2 plus players round him and I am convinced he will lose the ball, but he seems just to glide past players with such ease. Worth my monthly direct debit.
I think you are right except that often it's far more than just two other players around him!
Vicente had 5 players around him, in their penalty area.Wish I had been there to see it. I recall at last seasons Pompey game there were 5, possibly 6 players trying to stop him which they did by giving away a free kick from which he scored.
I'm bored with all the 'Vicente injured' and 'Vicente overpaid waste of space' threads (and anything else derogatory about our great Spanish Superstar).
I LOVE VICENTE and consider him to be the greatest player to play for The Albion in my lifetime.
Agree or disagree, but this is a positive thread so the naysayers can go 'do one'!

This I know that I let out a very strange moan of exhiliration when he played that 50 yard crossfield ball from the North West quadrant out to the left wing...The noises coming from the stands tonight whenever El Puñal was on the ball tonight were xrated! He is unbelievable.
Beautiful (wind back the clock 35 years and that could be Wardy with Jim Cannon sat on his arse again in the background...).
Speedos or surfing shorts...?Imagine what he's like in the sunshine when he's not freezing his nuts off!!
