Round the back, by the bins.
I agree he is very good. I rate Carey highly. He was immense in The Truman Show and his performance in the forgotten, Cable Guy was superb.

I'm not really a Carey fan but I have to agree that his performance in The Truman Show was nothing short of superb. I would not usually watch a film like that but he (along with a great music score) managed to put it into my top ten. Outstanding.

The Philip Glass score was stunning. This being my favourite piece.

I also think Kevin Costner has chucked in a few very good performances.

Will Smith was absolutely f***ing IMMENSE in Seven Pounds. That was an Oscar winning performance for me and he is mustard in everything he does imo.

Just watched that film based on your OP on the films you rate that didn't cause a stir. I thought it was average at best and the ending was abysmal.

Alan Rickman? Really? The multi-award nominee/winner and incredibly popular actor is underrated?

Charlie Sheen is imo a very talented actor. He was brilliant in Wall Street but never regained that apart from 2 and a half men which he was always superb in. Shame he lost the plot as he could have been one of the best around.

Each to their own. I found it hugely moving.

Jim Carrey in - I love You Phillip Morris was also great. I've found not many people have even heard of this film!?

Great film, Great performance. Jim Carrey is fantastic when not being Jim Carrey!

Quite. I think he would go as highly rated, but justifiably so.

For underrated, Juliet Stevenson, as in Truly Madly Deeply..... with the aforementioned Alan Rickman, but in loads of other stuff as well.

No mate. He is entitled to his opinion. A couple of friends of mine poo poo'ed it as well but for me it hit a huge emotional punch.

This is sure to divide people but for me Tom Cruise is a very good actor. Also Colin Farrell who was absolutely superb in, In Bruges.
