I have just heard from a regular poster on here, that following a hospital visit this morning, his wife has been diagnosed with cervical cancer and will have treatment starting as soon as possible.

Can I ask you all to remember her and her lovelly family in your prayers at this time and hope that you will continue thinking about her when she commences her treatment.

You could not meet a nicer couple than them and sometimes it makes you wonder how fair this life really is. They are 100% Albion fans and have been for many many years.

God Bless

dave

Good luck with the treatment, hoping it is successful and that she gets better soon.

My thoughts are with these people and to anybody else who may not be for whatever reason, having a carefree happy christmas.

I guess there's never a good time to receive shit news, but seeing everyone else out being festive must make it twice as hard.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.

That's really rough...hope things go well, whoever they are. Hope it's been caught early enough which the screening programme for woman is very good at doing.

Hope all you guys take time to examine yourself regularly too as testicular cancer is the number one cancer killer of men in their 20's and 30's. But it can be treated well if found early so make sure you regularly examine

if you don't know how to do it.

Happy Christmas to you all

That is indeed very sad news Dave, at any time of year. My thoughts are indeed with them, and their times ahead, its not easy and any bit of support that anyone can lend is fantastic from our personal experience with a different cancer. Its a scary and horrible time for families as they go through this. I hope this time next year it is all a distant memory.

Very sorry to hear this and hope, whoever you are, that it can be beaten and we can all get back to ripping the piss out of each other soon.

Terrible news that knocked me sideways when I received a telephone call about it earlier today.

Much love and best wishes to the lovely lady who is an absolute diamond.

Terrible news. Can't really add to what everyone else has already said.

Many best wishes to the lady, her husband and their family.

I hope the people affected manage to get all the strength that they'll possibly need - they certainly won't be lacking in understanding and support from here. All the best wishes in the world.
