Rushworth was cup-tied so McGill or Cahill were the substitute options for tonight.Verbruggen. McGill was on the bench tonight.
This is my thinking too.Would be happy to see Rushworth get a game on Friday with Bart's form being quite indifferent, plus in the league we're drifting to a mid table finish, so IMO worth the risk.
Sanchez has become the most despised keeper in Chelsea’s history with their fan base and has been relegated to cup keeper. I’m not sure that a good comparison.Bart.
He's had far fewer f*** ups than calamity Sanchez, but Chelski have stuck with him.
Bart is a good keeper with great prospects. He needs support, not dumping.
Exactly where I am.Maybe give Rushworth a go - not as in dropping Bart, more a case of giving him a rest and easing the pressure - and a bit of competition may not be a bad thing either!

Trouble is if he continues to make them, and it’s more than a few for me, Palace, Arsenal, Fulham, Forest etc….. his confidence will get more damaged and then it is an even longer journey back.No he's not been relegated to cup keeper - they've played 4 PL games this year and he's been the keeper for all of them. The only game he's not been their keeper for was in the cup against Morecombe.
He's not been dropped despite being despised and making a lot of errors. Bart is young and has potential still, so dropping him for a few errors would be a mistake.
