Remind me why we hate cucu more than caciedo or Sanchez. I'm guessing the rolling around , moaning etc ?
Cucurella was the 1st to try and engineer a departure. Was tapped up by City but they wouldn't match our valuation so he went on strike to force it through. We wouldn't budge. Then chelsea matched the valuation eventually and he realised he had always wanted to play for them since seeing their ground between heathrow and brighton (go figure!)

He then went to pieces in the 1st game back with chelsea following the pantomime booing of him and Potter. Which has only served to increase it in subsequent games.

Sanchez too went on strike but he falls to pieces irrespective of us booing him or not.

Caicedo also downed tools but most see that as his agent not him and I'm sure he would have preferred Liverpool but his agent had already committed him to chelsea and I understand had to forfeit some of his commission for chelsea to top the Liverpool bid. Don't forget when his agent tried to sell him to arsenal and we refused he did knuckle down and commit til the end of the season which I doubt either of the other 2 would have.

So that's my order on the three

Indeed. Caicedo was clearly manipulated by his agent and basically did what he was told. He also conducted himself well after the failed Arsenal move. He's done his time with the booing now, we can move on from him. Cucurella was a total dick the way he handled things, from kissing the Albion badge and crying with emotion when he scored for us in May, to suddenly deciding he was a Chelsea fan in August (after previously being a Man City fan) as soon as he got a sniff of a move and doing everything he could to force it. It was massively disrespectful to the club that gave him his chance in the Premier League. He's also an incredibly unlikeable player anyway, even the two Chelsea fans I know don't like him. He'd likely be a bit of a pantomime villain even without the history with us.

Sanchez fully deserves his booing too, but the difference with him is that he is completely out of his depth there, where as Cucurella is a class player.

I honestly believed Caicedo , before leaving he stated he HAD to do it as no one in his family would ever earn this much money, its the truth and genuine and humble to boot .
When he played for us i felt he did with honour
It was said he was also shown the plans that his previous club had for new facilities etc.., that were entirely dependent on them getting their 20% sell on for him.
Under those circumstances I can understand why he’d feel he had to go.

I don't have anything against Caicedo. He wanted to go in Jan, but stayed and played well and then we got big money. Cuckoo was annoying with his love for City before going to Chelsea, but it's not that bad. Calamity Sanchez was by far the worst.

After that tackle cucu stood in front of Dunky having a rant at him, trying to get in his face but a bit difficult when he's a foot shorter. Dunky just looked down on him with disdain. Lovely.

Caicedo had been here a bit longer, so not to the same extent.

P.S. and I always got the impression Caicedo’s was more about the agent and Moises was being “done to” to a certain extent
Hmmmm.... Caicedo would have been happy to jump to Arsenal in January 2023. Was kept away from training for a while.

He'd probably played, what, 25 times for the Albion at that point?

Can't say I hate him though. Got 115 million reasons not to.

PS Still amazed that he was great for us from his first game. Much, much quicker integration than, say, Bissouma or Macca. He took longer to adapt at Chelsea.

I loved that he got booed in the Euros too. I hadn’t seen the game against whoever it was he allegedly cheated against, so thought “f*** me there’s a lot of Albion fans there” at the next game which I did watch where he was constantly booed by the crowd :lolol:

The malformed little hijo de puta doesn’t half make a massive meal of that challenge as well, as if Veltman tried to snap his leg in three places. Actually…maybe on Friday? Just IMAGINE the fun.

Yeah, a lot of revisionism going on about Caicedo in this thread. He blindsided the club (with his agents) in Jan 2023 in a move that in any other industry would get you fired and never hired again by any employer. Obviously, I know football isn't any other industry but it was pretty awful.

The other side of the coin is that he got his crap together, rejoined the squad and delivered European football as one half of the best midfield duo this club will likely ever see. He played every single game from reintegration until the end of the season. We got an astronomical fee in the end and our dream adventure to the continent, but he's still a bit of a twerp for going on strike without telling the club.

Cucurella on the other hand tried to force us to accept a derisory bid from City who never had any intention of paying his value. It was a blessing Chelsea came in for him in the end because there was no way back like there was for Caicedo.

Cucurella definitely knows how to fall down like he's been shot no matter how innocuous the tackle is. Think his wavy hair makes it look worse
Literally said last night - he would get less abuse if he cut his hair IMO.

It means he sticks out a mile from the stands, and makes him look a bit silly.
