Because he forced the move, threw his toys out of the pram, was disrespectful and is a self-centred egomaniac.
Also he’d only been here 12 months, Caicedo was here for longer IIRC

Didn't caciedo do the same ?
Caicedo had been here a bit longer, so not to the same extent.

P.S. and I always got the impression Caicedo’s was more about the agent and Moises was being “done to” to a certain extent

If I remember correctly, Guardiola flashed his knickers and Cucu was desperate to go to City. Cucu was forcing through a move, then Chelsea came in with an offer that was difficult to refuse for a want-away left back.

I don’t think it was the move he wanted, but by that time he’d burnt a few bridges.

At least according to the hearsay.

I must confess I was a little annoyed at Veltman getting a booking for his verbals and pushing afterwards - the booking was unnecessary given he’d nailed him with the tackle.

That's not what happened, the ref went for the card as soon as Veltman made the tackle.

Foul at 26:48
Ref's whistle at 26:49
Ref's hand in pocket at 26:50

Don't know if deliberate, but he returned to Lancing (club video) after the initial interest from City became public, wearing a Puma track suit top rather than Nike.

Free to wear what they want if not a personal sponsor I guess, but jumped out as a little odd.

Am I correct that bookings in the FA Cup don't count in the Premier League matches?

Yellow cards are specific to the competition they are received in. Red cards do go across all domestic competitions so a red card in the FA Cup would result in a PL suspension. Yellow and red cards in UEFA competitions are specific to their games and do not come across to domestic matches.

The FA Cup has it's ownyellow card suspensions rules. For clubs entering at the third round a player would miss the next round after 2 bookings. These are wiped at the completion of the Quarter Finals.

If I remember correctly, Caicedo had a bit of a strop, when Arsenal made an offer in January, but he took a few days and came back stronger.
He reportedly cleared his locker out, once Chelsea's first offer had come in (and been rejected).

So was a bit of a twat, but the feeling was, he had been told that once our valuation had been met, he could leave.
It was Chelsea , who were trying to leverage that situation, rather than Caicedo.

Cucurella was throwing strops from the first rumour that City might be interested.

Remind me why we hate cucu more than caciedo or Sanchez. I'm guessing the rolling around , moaning etc ?
its the fact , he only wanted to play for Barcelona, then he dreamed of playing for man city --and finally he realised Chelsea was his true love
hes just a snake .........shame because he is a good player but by being slimey he annoys more than just Brighton fans

Thanks for sharing that, it was as I remembered it.
I wasn't sure whether the card was for trying to pull him to his feet, but the ref had his card out before that happened.
