Personally, I'd have it everyday if I could, but I know some bleeding heart liberals get all uppity about it. Therefore I thought I'd put it out there to the masses.

Much of the Veal cruelty thing is a myth. There was a programme on a few months back that showed the slaughter of animals for veal is just as humane as the slaughter of any other cattle.

EAT VEAL ITS LOVELY!

A calf lies dead in the slatted stall in which it stood for all of its life, with
no mother, sunlight or decent food. This is the fate of a calf raised for veal

As long as restaurants don't start putting that photo on the menu, we'll all be just fine. Veal is great.

I think that, as with all meat, if you know and accept where it comes from, how it is killed, processed and so on, and you still want to eat it, that's fine. But if you don't (and they say that one visit to an abbatoir can turn most people vegetarian), then it's all a bit hypocritical really. (BTW, this also leaves me right up there in the hypocrite steaks [sic].)

There's a big problem with people not understanding where their food comes from, I reckon, something which should be addressed at schools.

Ate it in Italy once not knowing what it was.

When I found out it was Veal I couldn't see what all the fuss was about.

No to veal because it tastes bad.

Veal Saltimbocca - yum yum in my tum!

Organically and correctly farmed there isn't any difference to any other meat you put on your plate.

I would never eat Veal, it is totally inhumane. I protested at Shoreham Harbour late 90's every night for about a week about this trade, don't bother coming back with any, what meat do you eat shite, THAT IS MY OPINION I AM NOT GOING TO CHANGE IT AND THATS THE END OF THE MATTER

So you protested, got the industry to pull up its boots, but still refuse to eat it? Why did you protest if you don't care for it?
