Don't think anyone was ever going to pay £20m for him. He was more of a Rashford but believed all the hype and totally failed to deliver before disappearing into obscurity.

£20mill in today's money is £5 mill in yesterday's?

Must be weird being a Leicester fan right now. After all the disbelief, the joy, the utter euphoria, now must come the realisation that life is never, ever going to get any better for their football club, and it's only ever going to be downhill from here.

Unless they win the Champions League, then they can't ever really top what they've just done. And it's more likely to go downhill very, very quickly indeed.

£20m for a 29 year old one season wonder? The world has gone mad.

Indeed - a one season wonder who has thrived under the way Leicester have played - which is completely different to the way Arsenal play. Unless Wenger is prepared to throw his footballing philosophy in the bin this move, if it happens, could well turn out to be a complete farce.

Absolutely spot on. And also this is why Vardy won't make any impact for England next week. He is a very specific tool for a very specific job. It is extraordinary how thick and arrogant some football coaches are, thinking they can mould any player according to their Football Genius will. Remember Zamora at Spurs: Let's beef him up in the gym and make him play a completely different way

On the one hand it disgusts me that a player would leave the champions of all England just to go to a so called "BIGGER" club but then on he other hand £20million for a striker that has that sort of "may go off the boil soon" type feel about him is a lot of money.

I don't see the point of getting hung up by the price tag.

Let's not forget Arsenal are sitting on something like £150,000,000 before the £200,000,000 cheque lands on the doorstep.

To paraphrase indy3050:-

£20m has just become 'only' £20m.
