Indeed - a one season wonder who has thrived under the way Leicester have played - which is completely different to the way Arsenal play. Unless Wenger is prepared to throw his footballing philosophy in the bin this move, if it happens, could well turn out to be a complete farce.

Absolutely spot on. And also this is why Vardy won't make any impact for England next week. He is a very specific tool for a very specific job. It is extraordinary how thick and arrogant some football coaches are, thinking they can mould any player according to their Football Genius will. Jeffers was a youth wonder kid who's career went backwards, whereas Vardy is a very late bloomer, so pretty much complete opposites (other than possibly being one season wonders).
