My other half will not be coming with me, never has come with me and has no plans to come with me! And if she ever thinks of changing her mind and wants to come then I will tell her not today love I have a headache!

Wife and I have been married 52 years and I can never remember taking her out for a meal on Valentines Day at extortionate prices I take her out and buy her flowers when I want to not cos a local shop says I should. I think I did buy her card when we were much younger but now we never buy each other birthday or Christmas presents or such like as we have a joint account so it means nothing. Always make a point of buying her a card though.
