In his appearances for us I never saw anything that made me think he would improve our side. I was slightly surprised so many people seemed so enthusiastic. Maybe it was that the season was ebbing away and we needed something to cling to. I did hope a loan would sort it out but that hasn’t happened. Ah well, we make a small profit and move on.

His deadball delivery was superb.

I was looking forward to seeing him play for us.

I always thought he was somewhat overrated here. He had that brilliant appearance as a sub versus Wolves away in the Cup but I don’t remember much apart from that

Couple of potential reasons;
FH prefers physicality which Barco won’t bring with his height and build.

Ferdi K’s preferred position is LB/ LWB. Maybe he is lined up to take over from Pervis in this role and so no need for Barco.

Temperament? Ability? Work ethic? Failure to settle? Evil head coach frightening away our young talent?

No idea, seems a shame though, you always want youngsters to do well. I didn’t see enough of him to have a strong opinion for/against, though I do remember a bizarre cameo (against Liverpool, if my memory is correct) where he had two touches and fell over the ball both times.
