Thought England were rubbish. Transferring my allegiances to Scotland.

The French are clearly not fully focused and this is a great chance to score a victory.

I've been impressed by the defence, particularly Clyne. He's far better than Walker. I think Kane's done OK, but Rooney's been below par.

With you all the way on Walker/Clyne.
Rooney had about his best game this season. Two cracking goals. Alli looks extremely impressive. But he's nowhere near as good as Pogba. For the moment, at least.

If Shaw recovers in time, England could have a new and, iin my view, awesome back five:

---------------- Butland ------------------
Clyne -- Stones -- Smalling -- Shaw

Not convinced that Roy will drop Hart though.
Looks like there's a few more options up-front too.

You won't have to worry about schedulling your life around football every second June then.

Our qualifying campaign means nothing as our group was so easy... As soon as we play a decent side we get shown up... Oh.... Erm.... Friendlies don't count. England are shit. How can we be 3rd best in Europe in Uefas silly system and seeded in the top seed pot... It's not even based on results and past performances.... Oh... England are boring... Zzzzzzzz

A good England performance that. These two games have been quite useful - new players like Clyne, Stones, Bertrand, Alli, Dier have done well and gained good experience. On the downside the likes of Walker, Delph, Shelvey and Lallana don't look international class to me.

I said, last week, that these two friendlies, would be useful for trying out youngsters, and got shouted down tha Hodgson should know his best 11 by now, and shouldn't be experimenting.

Good performance by England and by far the better team although the best player on show was Pogba.but dont lets get carried away. If it was a competitive match France would be better.than they were last night.

Wwooooooosssssshhhhhhhh

That's not fair. I knew it was tongue in cheek, but chose to add humour. I ask thee to withdraw thy 'woosh', or at least make it smaller.

I know, it's mental reading these threads sometimes. England lose in Spain = we are shit, sack Hodgson. England win against France = not a competitive game so we are still shit. We really do have some complete fools as fans, and they are not helped by a news media with the collective attention and memory span of a goldfish.
